As a self help club we do just about everything ourselves from the laying and maintenance of the moorings through to manning the club water taxi and canteen. This self help aspect is a important condition of membership keeps the costs of membership down and makes for a cohesive and knowledgeable membership.

Categories of Membership

Associate Member This is the initial probationary membership category when joining the Club and this category of membership has no vote at meetings

Full Member

A person over 18 years on the date of his / her election who has served the probationary period.  This category of membership has full voting rights
Family Member

The spouse or partner and children under the age of 18 of a Full member.

(There is no extra charge for a Family Membership.  The family unit has one vote, exercised by either adult.)

Temporary Member A visiting boat owner for a minimum period of 7 days and a maximum of 4 weeks in any year.

If you would like to become a member of North Haven Yacht Club please use the link Membership Application Form to download a Membership Application form or write to the Club address below enclosing a stamped, self-addressed envelope. There will be a short informal interview as part of the membership application process.

You will be asked to sign a Data Protection declaration as part of the application form so that the club can hold your data if you become a member.  Should you be unsuccessful in your application or choose not to take up an offer of membership the application form will be destroyed.

Priority is currently being given to boat owners or boat share applicants seeking membership.
