The DutyMan system and Duties Management
To ensure that all of the several hundred duties that are required each year are covered we are now using a system called DutyMan.
This is a web based purpose built system that will generate duty reminders for those with email and flag up those with duties but no email so they can be reminded by phone if necessary.
New people built on the system will get an email which contains their login name and password and a link to the duty roster. Ideally members with email should add email@example.com to their safe senders list to prevent mail from the system being treated as spam.
All members with email will get a message as the rosters are built showing them their duties.
Reminder emails are sent 14 days and again 7 days in advance of each duty to give a timely reminder that a duty is coming up and also to allow time for swaps to be arranged if you are no longer able to cover the duty.

If you forget your login details follow the instructions on the initial page to have your welcome email resent
However there will also be notes on the reminder emails to say who to contact if a duty cannot be covered.
